Business Visa

Eligibility
Business Visa is available to citizens of all countries except ECOWAS Nationals who do not require visa to visit Nigeria and other countries which Nigeria has entered into visa abolition agreements.

Foreign travelers who wish to visit Nigeria for the purpose of:

  • Conferences
  • Meetings
  • Seminars
  • Contract negotiation
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Purchase and distribution of Nigerian goods
  • Trade fairs
  • Job interviews
  • Training of Nigerians
  • Emergency/Relief Work
  • Crew members
  • Staff of NGOs
  • Staff of INGOs
  • Researchers
  • Musical concerts

Requirements

Valid passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank visa pages for endorsement (non-Greek passport holders must have a Greek resident permit)

  • Completed visa application form
  • Nigeria Immigration Service Visa Payment Receipt
  • Two (2) recent passport size photographs
  • Photocopies of passport data page
  • Return ticket reservation
  • Travel insurance
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • Letter of invitation from the Nigerian company, accepting full immigration responsibility, specifying reason for travel to Nigeria, exact dates of visit, as well as certificate of incorporation of the company.
  • Evidence of Hotel Reservation and Host address in Nigeria
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination card

(Self- sponsored business men may not require a Letter of Invitation but will be required to show evidence of sufficient funds)

Procedures 

  • Apply through online visa application system on https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/ and print completed form.
  • Pay online and print payment receipt.
  • Proceed with the completed form, payment receipt and all required documents for in-person submission, biometrics and interview at the Embassy. 50 Euros service fee applies.
