On 9th May 2022, H.E. Opunimi Akinkugbe had an engaging meeting with H.E. Niki Kerameus, Minister of Education and Religious Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Marousi, Athens. The meeting explored possible ways to secure admissions for displaced Nigerian students in Ukraine, procure student scholarships, develop vocational training programs and initiate educational exchanges between Nigeria and Greece.
Particular emphasis is laid on the 4 Cs skills: communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity- along with digital skills. Ambassador Akinkugbe was accompanied by Mr. Felix Logo (Head, Consular & Education) and Ms. Zerah Waminaje (Second Secretary) to the meeting.
