Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe, accompanied by Mr. Felix Logo (Head, Consular & Education) and Ms. Zerah Waminaje (Second Secretary), attended the dissemination event of the Childmove Project held at the Ancient Olive Grove Campus Conference Centre, Athens, on Wednesday, 11th May 2022.

With the topic: “the impact of flight experiences on the psychological well-being of unaccompanied refugee minors”, the event provided insightful perspectives on the sad and traumatic experiences of victims in Libya, Greece, Italy and Belgium.

A brilliant Nigerian lady, Dr. Sarah Adeyinka presented the session focused on the experiences of Nigerian victims of trafficking. Dr. Sarah Adeyinka gave a copy of her brilliant dissertation on “The Convoluted Experiences of Young Nigerian Victims of Trafficking Along Their Migration Trajectories” to the Ambassador.
