The Greek Deputy Minister of Tourism Ms. Sophia Zacharaki received H.E. Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe at the Ministry of Tourism, on December 17, 2021. Tourism is an essential element in developing our economies. Travel and tourism play a vital role in the creation of thousands of jobs. This preliminary meeting was to discuss the opportunities that tourism sector presents across its vast value chain. This meeting comes ahead of Ms. Zacharaki’s visit to Nigeria with Greek Foreign Minister Mr. Nikos Dendias in January 2022.
