“Today we reflect and honour the sacrifice of our founding fathers and celebrate our freedom to chart our course, as one people. In spite of the significant challenges that our country continues to face in our journey to nationhood, it is always important to stop to take stock, evaluate our journey thus far and what we can do to improve, and also to celebrate what has gone well with us.”
