On 17th May 2022, Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe, accompanied by Mr. Felix Logo (Head, Consular & Education) and Ms. Zerah Waminaje (Second Secretary), visited the Hellenic American College (HAEC) in Athens.
They were received by the Executive Vice President and CFO of the College, Dr. Leonidas Tzonis and the International Admissions Manager, Ms. Thenia Batanidou.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss placements in the coming academic year for Nigerian students recently displaced by the Ukrainian crisis. Also discussed were broader opportunities for Nigerian students wishing to study at the college, in a wide range of fields.
