On 15 July 2022, Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe visited The Breeder Gallery for an exhibition tour and meeting with Nigerian artist Deborah Segun and senior management of The Breeder Gallery.
Ms Segun’s first solo exhibition in Athens titled “You Keep Going Through It, I’m Just Coming Back From It” is on display from 14th July – 31st August 2022, at The Breeder gallery in Athens.

Ambassador Akinkugbe was given a guided tour of the gallery and held a meeting with the co-founder of the gallery, Mr. George Vamvakidis, the Director, Mrs Nadia Gerazouni and Associate Director Mrs Alkistis Tsampouraki.
Discussions centred on areas of possible collaboration between the Embassy and the gallery in promoting Nigerian art and artists.
