Temporary Work Permit

Temporary Work Permit/Residence Visas allow individuals reside in Nigeria for a period not exceeding two years.


Experts invited by corporate bodies to provide specialised skilled services, such as after sales installation, maintenance, repairs of machines & equipment, Training/Capacity building for Nigerian staff, Audit of machinery/equipment and financial records.


  • Valid passport with at least 6 months and 2 blank visa pages for endorsement (non-Greek passport holders must provide Greek Residence Permit)
  • Copy of completed visa application form
  • Two (2) recent passport size photographs
  • Copy of Letter of Approval from Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service
  • Formal application from Employer/Institution accepting Immigration Responsibility
  • Letter of Offer of Appointment and Acceptance of Offer
  • Letter of invitation from the company, specifying reason for travel and dates of travel
  • Certificate of incorporation of the company/institution
  • Educational qualifications and curriculum vitae
  • Return ticket
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • Evidence of hotel reservation/host address in Nigeria
  • Travel insurance
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination card


  • Apply through online visa application system on and print completed form.
  • Pay online and print payment receipt.
  • Proceed with the completed form, payment receipt and all required documents for in-person submission, bio metrics and interview at the Embassy. 50 Euros service fee applies.
