On Wednesday 5th January 2022, Head Consular, Mr. Felix Logo visited the Metropolitan College, Piraeus to check on the well-being of 47 new young Nigerian cadets on scholarship from the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, (NIMASA).

This was a follow-up visit to the college following an initial visit on November 25th November 2021 in the company of Her Excellency Ambassador Opunimi Akinkugbe and the Defence Attache Group Captain Idris soon after the arrival of the cadets in Greece.

An important part of our mandate at the Nigerian Embassy is the welfare of Nigerian citizens in Greece and ensuring that our students are thriving in an environment of excellence.  It was nice to see the students settling down well.

In addressing the cadets, Mr. Logo enjoined them to always remember that it is indeed a privilege to have been selected for this prestigious programme in the foremost maritime nation, and that they should be ambassadors for Nigeria.
